We all are painfully aware of the horrible tragedy that had befallen a number of our fellow Central Dauphin families several weeks ago. As a member of the Central Dauphin community, our hearts go out to the families involved and we offer our deepest sympathies.
One of the young men involved in that tragedy, Zach Kijowski, absolutely loved the game of baseball and was a member of our Paxtonia Athletic Association family.
A member of Zach’s family had approached us with the idea of honoring his memory by holding a fundraiser to benefit his first baseball home – Paxtonia Athletic Association. In partnership with his family, the Zach Kijowski Memorial Baseball Fund has been launched.
The proceeds of this fundraiser will go toward the betterment of PAA’s facilities and commemorating him in perpetuity.
